Here is the 10" DSE sub woofer I purchased for $148. I tried one at the local Dick Smith store and had to buy one. At this price everyone can afford a home theatre sub woofer. You won't get state of the art, but who can complain about paying 150 bucks?
I have seen them on special for even as low as $128 lately!
Below are the pictures I took to show everyone what is inside the box. It uses a single chip amplifier IC. Possibly something around 50W RMS like the LM3876.
The sub measures 525Hx484Wx407D. It weighs 16.4kg and has a frequency response of 35-150Hz.
